Herman had many gifts in his life...his intelligence, his sense of humor, his loyalty and the unconditional love he had for his family and friends. The most meaningful gift that was appreciated by all that knew him was his gift of letter writing. His ingenious way of looking at life gave him a comedic and often weird slant to his letters and musings.
