William Shaun Milligan was raised in the industrial town of Corby, England.

Where he started writing poetry whilst at school, but never published any of his poetry until his late twenties.

The influences running through Williams poetry range from Taoist thinking to existentialism.

Williams poetry promotes the ideals of personal freedom, responsibility, self discovery & a deep respect for Humanity and mother earth.
