Focus on your 3 key life areas:
*Objective = Finish the day on paper, before you begin it.
The focal point is on our 3 main areas of our lifetime:
1. Career - We must always plan, act, re-act, think, plan & focus forward best, how? Action items, notes, ideas & thoughts; Capture them here daily, for an effective day, adding to a week, the month, then quarter, then half to year.
2. Relationship - Who are most important? Who is not? What can we improve? What should we do more of, less of, what to stop & What to start?
3. Health - How long do you want to live & how well? What is your near-term goal? Weight loss? Nutrition change? Long term goals?
Commit to your paper plan to accomplish your goals - Track Action items, notes, next steps, comments, opinions, quotes, ideas & thoughts; Capture them here in your Journal, carry open items forward and keep the progression forward looking. Use the success cycle; Act then re-act, think, plan, adjust, & always look forward.
Stephen Maloney is a committed to living a great life. After many successes and failures he felt a need for a life journal is needed for everyone, all the time to monitor your success and you, constantly improving. Going in the right direction, is not a sharp enough approach.
This life plan is this journal. It enables you to constantly adapt to change, focus on what matter most, and to keep you on track to achieve each day, then for each month, each quarter and for each year.
We only have 1 life to live, this is a not a practice life. This journal can be a framework to make the most of it.
A critical tool to get to a great life is to plan, track & monitor your progress. To assess how to re-act, what to fix, what to avoid, and what to meticulously track over time.
A paper journal is essential for this. In a world where we on average look at our mobile phone 150 times per day(IBM), we need to integrate our many tasks, meetings, interruptions & activities into 1 life plan.
