Is there a place for creativity?

From my experience in the education system and working with children, being creative in the classroom seems to have become a popular method of teaching. I have witnessed many teachers embrace their creative ideas and I have seen other teachers who do not know how to embrace it and end up sticking to a more traditional approach. Therefore, I decided to explore whether or not there is a place for creativity in education.
