Kemi is stranded on a strange island after falling off her surfboard into the ocean. It's her thirteenth birthday and she must hurry home before dinner time. She explores the Island in search of a way home but discovers a precious gift and meets a guardian angel named Gabe who promises to help her. Along the way, she is stalked and captured by an evil angel on the island named Luk and his impkins who lock her in a cave. She meets other people in the cave and they devise a plan to escape.
