Jacob Faces Being Different is about a young boy who is not like other kids. Most kids don't talk to him because of this, until a boy named Thomas befriends Jacob. Everyone else begins to see that Jacob is not as bad as it may have seemed before and he is just like everyone else, even though he does look different.
