About Author
Author and illustrator Lois Boylan has been a wellspring of creativity and love which she has expressed to many different people in a great variety of ways. Bob Boylan, her husband of 61+ years, was educated as an electrical engineer, worked three-and-a-half decades at Unisys, and was an expert on car and home repairs. Together they produced a wonderful family of five children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren (so far!). The story of their interdependent relationship with their dear little dog Jake is pretty much true, although in a few instances Jake might have worded things a bit differently. But everyone concerned agrees that “Love helps you hang on when that’s the right thing, but it also helps you let go when that’s for the best.”
