My name is Susan Darger and I am an artist. One of my desires has always been to design, paint and author a book. I finished a quilt for my grandchildren and as I began looking at it, I realized that this quilt had a story to tell. As the story began, I began to paint every page until the story was told. Every page is related to the characters in the quilt. As the children will read every page, they will connect with the quilt. This is my first endeavor at writing and painting and connecting a quilt with a book. I am hoping to do more book quilts that are inspirational
