About the Book
This book of poems is a great way to connect my real life experiences to the reader on paper. I am able to express myself with true emotion in these poems. This has been an amazing outlet on how to deal with PTSD. If it can inspire one veteran to start writing themselves vs. taking his or her life then I would say my goal was achieved. These poems are also designed to be left behind for my children. I hope these poems will stand the test of time.

About Author
I am a man of many careers and life experiences. At the age of 23 I graduated from Sul Ross State University with a bachelors in Criminal Justice. Since college I have gone on to serve in the United States Army where I was an Air traffic controller. After the military I was a police officer. Now I am a Special education teacher and coach at the high school level. I have a masters in Business as well as Criminal Justice. My proudest accomplishment is being a loving father to my children.
