About Author
We are the parents of a young girl who was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth. As her parents we have worked hard to find ways to ensure that Jenessa is receiving the proper help to make her sucessful in life. We decided to create this book as Jenessa moves from preschool to kindergarten to help her friends, classmates, and teachers understand how they to can help make Jenessa sucessful in life. Although each child is unique you may find this book to be helpful whether you are a parent of a child with special needs or as parent of a child with a classmate that has special needs.
