Jim and Me - An E Mail Friendship

I first met Jim Lewellen when my wife, Linda and I hung out with Jim and his wife, Carol, on an American Oriental Express transcontinental train trip in 2002. We exchanged Christmas cards for seven years, and reunited in May, 2009, when we visited San Luis Obispo, California on our way to L.A. Jim and I resumed our conversations as if we had never been separated, and although he was seriously ill, after our visit, we began exchanging e mails and continued to do so for the next 11 months. I will treasure this collection, and I have made copies for Carol, Denver, and Amanda, in the hope that Jim's words will help keep his memory alive for all of you.
