I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on the 14th of May 1999. When I was 3 years old I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. However, as I learnt from my Granda Jim, it doesn't stop me doing anything that I set my mind to. Since being diagnosed, I have met so many amazing people, have been given once in a lifetime oppertunities and have learnt some very important lessons. Being diabetic isn't great, but it's not the worst thing in the world. At the end of the day, it has made me who I am today and there are so many things I have learnt from it that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
