This book follows the adventures of Jim and I as we find things to do before the summer ends. We end up being hired guns for a local farmer just like in the Old West. We then try and ride a wild horse and find out more about ourselves than we ever bargained for. We learn about responsibility, hard work, determination and bravery. Jim and I is a story written about Gary Hays and his brother Jim when they were children. The first book in the series talks about the end of their summer in a small town in Missouri. The poems are written by Jeremiah Hays. The book is meant to share about the life of the Hays Clan and is meant to be a legacy for generations to come.
