On Thanksgiving, when little Joey learns that his family has won a giant red and yellow stuffed turkey, he and Mommy begin a quest to find their prize. They search in all the stores in town that had participated in the turkey contest to no avail. Just as they are ready to give up and continue on their way to Grandma’s house for a Thanksgiving feast, their last hope pays off. At the final store on their journey, little Joey finds his giant red and yellow soft new friend. This story of a family driving to Grandma’s house to enjoy Thanksgiving Day together exemplifies and American tradition and jubilates togetherness and camaraderie.
