About Author
Robert J. Roth, born June 15, 1928 to Joseph P. and Victoria Roth, carried an 1888 silver dollar for years in honor of his father's birth year. In the 1990's he wrote his father's biography. The silver dollar, having been handed down to Robert's son Jeff, was made into a silver-clasped money clip as a wedding gift for his son Parker, whose middle name Joseph was chosen in honor of Joseph P. Roth. This book was created in 2014 to perpetuate the knowledge and memory of "Big Joe" Roth of Victoria, Kansas.
