In this book I want to present to you two things: Principles for youth ministry that can be used universally, no matter the size or demographics of your church, and also what it may look like for those principles to be applied in a specific church context. This model for ministry is Biblically based on Jesus’ ministry on earth. Each aspect of this model for the purpose of clarity is very sectioned, but in the realties of ministry they are all connected, unified, and feed into each other. In this book I will use Emmaus Youth Ministry from Mission Church of the Nazarene in San Diego, CA as the specific church context in which this Biblical model will be actualized.
