Jen has talked about walking from DC to Pittsburgh.
On 3 Sept, 2012 she took the first step from MM 0 of the C & O Canal in Georgetown. After days of one foot in front of the other she arrived at the Pump House in Homestead, Pittsburgh Pa. A trip of over 300 miles. It went along historic trails in Virginia, Maryland, WVA and Pennsylvania. The experience reinforced how beautiful the country is, how wonderful the people are and how Blessed Jen is.

At 55 Jen was doing a lot of talking about what she could do, if she just tried. Actually doing it took the support of her knight in shining armor, and encouragement of her sons.
