About Author
This book of poetry was written by Kaylee Ann Jenkins age 14, who lives in Madison, Indiana and attends Southwestern High School. Kaylee enjoys listening to music, playing football, spending time with friends and family, singing and dancing. Kaylee was diagnosed with type two diabetes in 2005. She also went through Hurricane Katrina in her hometown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Losing almost everything and spending loads of time in a hospital has made Kaylee a very strong, independent young woman.
