I am Tutu Shae. Tutu means Grandparent in the Hawaiian language, and although I am not Hawaiian by blood I treasure the Hawaiian stories. As a young girl, I spent summers in Hawaii with my paternal grandparents, and then I would spend the rest of the year with my maternal grandparents in the Grand Canyon on the Havasoupi reservation. Both the American Indian and the Hawaiian cultures are rich with stories and I look forward to bringing them to life in books and sharing them all with you.
