1967 Private Investigator in San Francisco discovers body of murdered woman in the bay. Parents of deceased have offered up a huge reward for the apprehension and conviction of their daughter's killer and he decides he wants to collect. He is hot on the trail of the killer but when he runs into a dead end, is visited by an apparition from the past - old time detective Sam Spade. Using clues only they can dig up, the two figure out who the perpetrator is and in the end, solve the crime. A who-dunnit with a twist.
