About Author
Destiny Rivers is a Junior in High School Among some achievements and Awards, she has received recognition from Mayor Rex Richardson, Senator Marco Rubio, and Long Beach Unified School District Superintendent Jill Baker. Destiny is a Christian believer in God. Destiny's interests and future goals in furthering her education include Music and Journalism. Her creative writings and orations have been inspired by the murder of George Floyd and Black Activists who fought for our rights and never gave up, even with their last breath.
