About Author
Daniel Watson is a dynamic educator and musician based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He currently works as the Choral Director at Greenwood Community School Corporation. He previously worked as the Director of Music at Covenant Christian High School in Indianapolis. Watson graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Education at York College. He is the organist at Pleasant Run United Church of Christ, an ISSMA Adjudicator, a travel tour manager, a freelance musician, and teaches private music lessons. He has performed and directed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and various university campuses. Mr. Watson received the Outstanding Future Music Educator Award of 2015 from Indiana Music Education Association as well as the 2014 & 2015 National Professional Achievement Award from the National Association for Music Education.
