LEGACY

Lines ... such a simple word. Yet with such a profound meaning. Profound because different people have different connotations of this word. It can be anything in a person's imagination. Like the borderline between the sea and the sky. The outline of stars in the canopy of clouds. The lining of the moon's glow from above. It may be some structure. The stanza completing a poet's verse. The hues shading a painter's sketch. A road toward someone's journey. Lines have some beginnings and some endings, some starting and some finishing thread in the tapestry of life.

Lines ... I think of it in terms of melody, of a symphony, of harmony ... that's the line of thought of a writer. I also think of it as a pathway, an alley that allows me to travel into a thousand dreams. Life is a journey, travel, a tour, a destiny. The lines that we frequently walk on, fall on, stand on are the ones we most cherish and treasure much.
