This book is about lighthouses in the United states. They are located on the East Coast, Pacific Coast and the Great Lakes. You will see beautiful lighthouse of various structure. Lighthouses are not all of a conical shape. Some lighthouses still serve as navigation points. Many have been abandoned because of better navigation on the boats themselves. Most, if still working are operated by computers.
