About the Book
Damian came home from school one day to tell his parents about Omar, a boy at his school, who recently immigrated to Canada from Syria. Half of Omar's family had been bombed while living in Syria. When they moved here, they had no toys or furniture. Damian thought this was very sad so he created this book about toys to raise money to buy toys for kids who don't have any.

About Author
Damian is a lively 6 year old. He enjoys playing with toys, especially Transformers, Hot Wheels, and Lego.
While attending Grade 1 at a local Regina elementary school, he is learning to write phonetically. He has a great imagination and draws pictures with great accuracy.
Damian wrote and illustrated this book all by himself.
