Lillian Rose wants a pet turtle. Her teacher has a dog. Her best friend has a cat. Her lunch buddy has a hamster. But she really, really, really wants a turtle. Despite her Mimi trying to talk her out of it, she is determined to have one. So, Daddy takes her to Pet Mart several times to look over ALL the pets and encourages her to think before she chooses. Fascinated looking in at the turtles in the pet store, she can't decide which one to choose. At last, there is a Show and Tell day in Kindergarten, and Lillian Rose shows off her new pet to everyone's surprise!

Dee A. Gregory hails from Long Island, NY but currently resides in Fleming Island, FL. This is Dee's second children's book and it is based on her own granddaughter, of the same name, who wanted a turtle as a little girl.
Once again, the teacher in Dee provides some interactive pages at the end of the story.
