Lilly is a little girl who loves green jelly beans. But, when she can't find her hidden green jelly beans, she discovers they have been stolen by a mouse living in her room who also likes green jelly beans. Lilly and George become friends and mischief abounds.

P.A.Green has always loved telling stories. When she became a grandmother in the 1990's those skills went into full gear. With her living in MD and her grand daughters being raised in IN, creativity became her most needed tool. As stories of Lilly evolved over long distance phone calls to summer visits with the grand daughters, they too contributed to the mischief of George, the mouse.
