Why was the only story about Jesus's boyhood the one written in Luke 2:41-51 about the time Jesus was left in Jerusalem by his family? Maybe because it's something to which most parents and children alike can relate. But also, perhaps it's because even today we still find ourselves sometimes leaving Jesus behind.
