For over 30 years I have been a novice gardener. In 2015 we introduced aquaponics to the mix, now gardening 6-9 months out of the year and foraging when plants are available. The goal is to grow enough to enjoy year around with very little added from the grocery store. Bees were added in 2020 and in 2021 we added our second hive. The bees and the garden kinda go together.

In 2022 soil became the focus of the garden. Everything that was grown was canned or dried.

Live On What You Grow is a personal journey to return to self sufficiency providing nutritional food for the family year around from healthy clean soil.
