So many people are being afflicted yet there is never enough preparation for what truly lies ahead. I joined an online support group when I realized there is no one in my circle who truly understands how I feel on a daily basis. I have noticed so many others join the group seeking answers as they were not prepared, like myself for this effects of this life altering disease. I feel like everyday I wake up and "put on my happy face" just like most women put on their make up. People see you up and about but never understand what it even took out of you to get up out of bed. For a normal healthy person getting out of bed can be a challenge, can you truly imagine what it feels like to first disconnect yourself from the machine that keeps you alive to go out and face the world?
