The artwork and writings in this book are reflections of sorrow and healing created after the death of our son Danny in hopes to help others deal with sorrow and begin to heal.

I have been an educator for over 30 years, and artist my whole life, and a mother of three boys. When we suffered the terrible loss of our middle son Danny, my artwork and writings turned to works about mourning in an attempt to heal, and hopefully be a source of inspiration to others that suffer a similar loss.
