Kippy left behind WWII photo album and all these photos were his. Chuck Gilbertson wanted to do a World War II project with these photos but fell ill. Ann decided fulfill Chucks wishes by publishing his photos.

Ann Olmscheid Thomes is married to Christopher and they have two daughters Jaclyn and Jessica and a granddaughter. They live in northern Minnesota. Ann loves to write memoir and family history books. Ann went to high school at Edina West, college at U of M Duluth, and graduate school at Hamline University, St. Paul, MN.
