This is a children's book to teach children about injuries/broken bones and how to learn that injuries do happen with children but how to teach the child that everything is okay and nothing bad will come of this. We feel as if there are not many children's books about this sort of topic and having a children's book that teaches the child whose reading it about injuries shows the child how to deal with the injury and that it is a natural thing. Being injured as a child is something that happens throughout child hood and it is something that could happen while riding a bike, or even walking up the steps, and this book shows children that everything is okay and how to deal with the pain, injury itself, and how to still work around obstacles with having that injury.

Lindsey Hubler is a Sociology major with an emphasis in criminal justice. She enjoys being around children and likes to learn about the way they grow and interact with others. With her background in Sociology she learns about children and how they interact in certain situations so doing a book about injuries with children broadens her horizons of how children function at a young age.
