This story is about a lonely elephant named Manny who, in difficult times, is helped by a young girl, Emily. She writes him supportive letters and the two exchange a heartwarming conversation with the help of a young kiwi bird friend.

This is her first book and she wrote and illustrated it. Her inspiration came from her love of elephants. Her favorite things to do are play basketball and go to the beach.
