About Author
I was born in Wildcat, VA on May 5, 1929. I grew up on a farm in Alabama. I am the oldest of 10 kids. I did a lot of mothering. I married and 6 kids of my own, we celebrated 67 years of marriage. My involvement with kids covers many things. I have been a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and took care of working mother's kids so I could stay home with my own. I also volunteered at school and spent lots of time with my 60 grandchildren. I make quilts for my family and like to read.
