About Author
My love for cooking began as a child who was very curious. As far back as I can remember I was always in our tiny kitchen with my mother watching her cook. I questioned everything she did and tasted everything she cooked. Some of my fondest memories are Sunday mornings helping my Mom make her special "Red Sauce". My mother was from W. Virginia and my father from Italy, so my mother combined her country cooking with Italian and created some very different, tasty dishes. In my recipes you will see some of her Italian/Country and some of my own creations.
When i cook, I very rarely use a recipe. If I do, I always change it. Some of my recipes I call "Layered Cooking"
I love entertaining and my biggest reward is hearing someone say "Um, this is the best I've ever had."
