Marty is a Yorkshire Terrier. He was in our family for over 15 years. In the book, Marty uses his real life experiences and memories, to teach young children about opposites, growing up, getting older and in the end, the love of a family.

Adrienne is a pre-school teacher. She is the loving wife to Kenny, and mother to Devin and Marty.
Adrienne spends most of her time taking care of the family and taking trips to camp, boat and ski.
