My name is Madeline Pou-Garcia,I've been married for ten years and I have two wonderful children. Writing children's book have always been something i wanted to do. When I had my son, he loved books, he always wanted me to read to him. One day after 3 bedtime stories, he asked for one more, and I just blurted the lines of Mason's Left to Right Adventures like a rap,and he loved it. He loved that his name was in it, and he just wanted to hear more. I kissed him goodnight and told him there would be more tomorrow. I sat down and wrote the lyrics down. The words just kept flowing, and I could actually picture it in my head like a storybook. I read it to my son countless of times and four years later I decided to make it in to an actual book.
