Joel is a prolific quilter and carver, creating many quilts and carving wood, antlers, animal horns and other unique mediums. His carvings and quilts often having a heart theme with hearts buried deep within each quilt. He has now expanded his creativity by writing a book for his grandchildren who he holds dear in his heart.
