About the Book
In 2013, I was in my seventh grade year of middle school. I was being bullied by my peers so I stopped returning to school. Which forced my mother to place me in a group home. This was an unfamiliar experience for me so I wanted to keep a daily journal of my everyday life there.

About Author
Shawn Lane-Richardson was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to a single mother of two. Growing up he faced many challenges but that never stopped him from loving the Lord and having a strong connection with faith. Shawn lost his mother to cancer at the age of 15. He is enrolled at St. Augustine's University, majoring in Business Administration. Mr. Richardson dreams of Outreach Ministries, instilling youth programs in his community, and opening a funeral home to assist those less fortunate. Shawn currently serves on the Praise and Worship Team and as a sound technician at Mount Calvary Word of Faith. Shawn started a digital graphics company in late 2018, which launched socially in 2020.
