This book is about a Black child living with autism.
The purpose of this book is to inform and educate children, a their parents and caretaker of an individual with the diagnosis. In the black community the autism diagnosis is an unspoken subject. It is also shamed,ignored,ridiculed and isolating. There is little to NO support from the community itself.

I'm GoddessMother SupaQueen aka Orisha's Mom.
I was born and raised in NYC and relocated to Los Angeles in 1985. I became the young mother of two sons Ahkanan and Tislam, which I raised on my own. In 2009 I had my third child Orisha. We moved to Berkeley when she was a year ild and been here ever since.
