Miguel's Adventure is a story about the importance of appreciating diversity. Miguel is a macaw who lives in the rainforest with his family. One day he travels about the forest to find seeds for dinner. As he flies along he meets some new and interesting animals that teach him we should appreciate the differences in others and it's fun to make new friends.

My name is Tina Ryan. I am a wife, mother, teacher and author. My husband Chase and I have 4 boys ages 15, 12, 9, and 8. They light up my life and make me laugh and smile everyday. We live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have been teaching for 17 years. I adore kids and enjoy spending my days with 3rd graders. I also enjoy taking pictures of my children, running and going to the beaches on beautiful Lake Michigan. I have been writing stories since I was 7 years old. I want to publish books that make kids believe in themselves, love to read, teach them something and smile! It is my dream to make a difference through literature. Kids and stories are my passion!
