From childhood drawing classes to college courses in Graphic/ Digital Design, I have always had an interest in Art. Until I discovered acrylic paints, pencil was my medium of choice. The majority of my portfolio consists of acrylic on canvas but I am currently experimenting with mixed media projects. I am also a mosaic artist and recently completed a mosaic table top using broken plates. I work with tile for most mosaic projects but I have found that using various and less common material usually results in a more interesting piece. I strongly believe that to be a successful artist, risk taking is a necessity. Much of my inspiration comes from the human form, nature and music.
