Samantha Laux was a young enthusiastic children’s author. In 2006, Sam discovered she was born with a neurological condition that has rendered her deaf, legally blind and bound to a wheelchair. This has not deterred Sam from her dreams. Sam graduated from Clear Fork High school in 2007 and attended Wright State University.
Sam passed away June 18, 2012 but her dream lives on through her books.
Samantha was creative and used her talents to write inspirational children’s books. She lived on a farm in Ohio with her family and many of the animal characters from her books.
Samantha’s goal was to create fun and educational non-fiction children literature. First in the Working Animal Series, is It’s a Dog’s Job, a story about her service dog, Dylan. This book, Missy, the Domestic Diva is second in the series. The third book is “Working Side-by-Side” , a story about two therapy ponies.
