This is a children's book about my beloved cat, Mister. He was known and loved by his family and neighbors. His best animal friend was named Cleo, a greyhound who visited him daily. Mister was featured on the news and was remarkable because of his large size. He was so large that he had to wear a dog's collar. He was one of a kind and is greatly missed. Mister lived to the age of fourteen--he died on November 04, 2010.

Mees is the name given to me by by daughter, Noelle. I am a high school teacher of thirty-five years. I have been blessed by a wonderful family, friends, students, and pets. My cat, Mister, provided much comfort and joy over the years. He was with me through life's ups and downs. I wrote this book in memory of him, so that my new grand-daughter, Olive, would know him through me. I hope future generations will come to know and love him through this book.
