About Author
My family is number one in my life. We are a family of 5 and I am a busy mom, nurse and doula, the kids are growing up and I am beginning to wonder where all the time went. I have been married to the love of my life as well as my true soulmate for 16 years now! Robert is not only my hero, but my best friend as well. Robert is a Professional Fire Fighter / Paramedic for the City of Flint. This is his passion! We have three awesome children that are growing way too fast. Kayla is 21 years old. She has grown into an amazing young woman and she amazes me every day with her strength and bravery! Kayla was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer when she was only 19 and she is a SURVIVOR!!! :) Despite her health challenges she still managed to complete an accelerated EMT class and graduate in the top half of her class. Alex is 16 years old and he is growing way too fast! Alex is a talented musician and has played the Clarinet for 5 years now. He plans to go into Psychology after high school...
