A talented poet Selma Kopic, here in a great poetry collection, Monument of Love, opens the gates of her restless soul and loving heart, offering “the touch of poetry – a healing touch”. Undoubtedly, that healing comes both through writing and through reading poesy, I cannot agree more with the Author. Being a poet myself, I know it also well from my own experience.
This book you now have in your hands is a poignant life story of a sensitive woman, told as if in shots, in a poetic form. That is a story of lost love, longing, but also of hope. Interspersed with mesmerizing depiction of dreams, recurrent memories and happy, unforgettable moments.
