A collection of children's poems meant to amuse and, where appropriate, to teach lessons in character-building. Several feature animals in adventure-filled formats; others are about young people who find themselves in unusual situations.
Emily Spector is a retired English instructor who taught freshman English for many years in Houston. She is the mother of four children, the grandmother of seven and the great grandmother of two (and counting).
While I originally wrote these poems for my own grandchildren, they have been shared with nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and most recently, my great grandchildren. My dream is to let as many children as possible see them.
