About Author
Morgan Clements obtained his MFA from Academy of Art University in 2015 the year he turned fifty.
Morgan's most well known sculpture is the Doc Utah Raven. It is the award given to the winners of the Doc Utah film festival. Morgan has also been in a number of shows and won several awards. He has a few patrons who collect his work and has work in the permanent collection of Dixie State University and Washington city Museum.
Morgan is passionate about creating figurative classical sculpture. When asked why, he said: It seems like a lot of the world has embraced Hobb's idea that life is mean, nasty, and bitter. Every day we are shown the lack of humanity in humankind. I think it is important to remind people that while we are capable of horrible things we can also aspire to the divine. I think discovery of beauty puts us in touch with our divine nature."
