We're a group of three girls that go to New Tech Academy at Wayne High School. We have been learning about immigration, and we had to interview an actual immigrant so that we could make this book. We thought long and hard about who we should interview and we thought of a really close substitute teacher that we had freshman year. We always enjoyed listening to his stories of his adventures. So we asked him and he agreed to it, that was a relief because we knew him so well.
